There will be two special services
at the Center this month. On Sunday, March 7 from
1:30p.m.-2:30p.m. we will
commemorate the Mahasamadhi of our Guru Paramahansa Yogananda and on Tuesday,
March 9 from 6:30p.m.-8:30p.m. we will commemorate the Mahasamadhi of Swami Sri
Yukteswar.
Mahasamadhi means "great ecstasy", the union of the
soul with the Infinite during a God-realized yogi's final exit from the physical
body. Please bring a flower as a symbol of devotion to God and Guru, and a donation
may be offered as a symbol of loyalty to Self-Realization Fellowship. Special
services are open to SRF students and members and anyone drawn to the Self-Realization
Fellowship line of Gurus.
