August 6-7 & 9: On Thursday, Friday, and Sunday, August 6, 7, & 9, our services will be adding a touch of Convocation. Thursday’s service, from 6:30-8:30 pm, includes the livestreamed nun’s kirtan, Friday’s meditation , from 6:30-9:30 pm, will be livestreamed and guided by Sister Jyoti, and on Sunday a talk by Sister Brahmani will be shown from 11:00 am-12:00 pm.
August 16
August 16: Please join us on the third floor after the service on Sunday, August 16, to reflect on the Convocation experience at our Post-Convocation Potluck Social. Please bring a vegetarian dish, salad or dessert to share.
August 23
August 23: The Young Adults Group will meet on Sunday, August 23 at 12:15 pm in the third floor social area. All young adults, ages 18-40, are invited to join in this hour of fellowship and discussion, followed by a vegetarian lunch.
August 30
August 30: A Chanting Service will be held in the main chapel on Sunday, August 30, from 12:30-1:30 pm. The service consists of chants alternating with brief periods of meditative silence. Many devotees find these longer chanting sessions helpful in deepening their meditations.
If you plan to attend, please be seated in the chapel by 12:25 pm.
