Thursday, May 1 is National Day of Prayer. Devotees are invited to participate through prayer and meditation at NYCC, or through private prayer and meditation at home. According to our Guru, Paramahansa Yogananda, “Most men consider the course of events as natural and inevitable. They little know what radical changes are possible through prayer."

Please join us on Saturday, May 31, from 10:00 am-2:00pm, for a day of fellowship and karma yoga. The day will begin with a short period of meditation followed by time for Seva (service) during which we will undertake several small, light, cleaning projects to beautify our spiritual home. The day will end with another short period of meditation followed by a delicious vegetarian lunch. This is a wonderful opportunity to help out and make new friends! All are welcome!
